DTS - Epic Pathways
Community participation programme
We support clients ranging from 16 to 65 years old, with additional support provided to individuals transitioning from school to promote inclusivity through an open-door policy accommodating a diverse array of needs. Each client benefits from a personalised vocational plan tailored to address their individual requirements.
This programme aims to:
- Support clients to access and take part in activities in the community.
- Support clients to develop their skills for greater participation in the wider community.
- Facilitate opportunities for individuals to engage with and build relationships within the broader community, through disability-inclusive activities that promote meaningful interactions.
- Services are developed in alignment with each individual's needs and preferences, including tailored learning and recreational activities.
- Have fun!
Outcomes
Outcomes will be customised to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual, which may include:
- Active participation in activities in the community.
- Increased confidence and self-esteem, self-reliance and autonomy.
- Movements towards employment.
- Development of work-related skills.
- Becoming valued and contributing members of their community.

- Carry out courses as per individual needs, eg personal health and safety, computer competency, literacy, numeracy, and other courses that will aid and assist each individual.
- Inclusion in the community for clients by fostering relationships with clubs, associations and other groups.
